Red Kuri Squash is a red-orange Japanese squash, fruit is 5-8 lbs each and teardrop-shaped. The golden flesh is smooth, dry, sweet, rich and nutty flavor. A very prolific and early variety that keeps well. Makes excellent soups, desserts, vegetable tarts, cakes, blinis, pancakes, lasagna, risotto, vegetable stews. Highly sought after by chef's and in markets. Would be a wonderful addition to any home gardener.
