Sow ½-1” deep in full sun after last frost or start indoors 3-4 weeks prior to last frost. Harden off seedlings before planting. Watermelon seedlings are sensitive and best to directly sow.
Sow seeds 6” apart. Space plants 18” apart in rows 6-8’ apart.

When to harvest:
When the bottom side of the melon where it lies on the ground turns from light green to a yellowish in color. The curly tendrils on the stem near the point of attachment turns brown
