Can pumpkins be blue? Well yes they can! Who doesn't love a blue pumpkin. Blue Jarrahdale are a gorgeous and stunning blue-green-greyish color from New Zealand. The flesh is bright orange and is prized for tasting as good as it looks. With a slightly flattened shape, this medium to large pumpkin is a beautiful and tasty addition to your table. The orange flesh of the Jarrahdale is a stunning contrast to its bluish skin.

The flesh is firm, and not stringy, which makes it great for use in a variety of recipes. While it is best used to enhance savory dishes, it also makes a delicious pie pumpkin. 10-12 pounds. Mild sweet flavor, great for eating. Holds up to 12 months for storage. 90-100 days.

They can be roasted, stewed, and made into delicious soups. Or they are beautiful decorations a truly elegant pumpkin.

If cured correctly, (let sit in the sun for 7-10 days after harvesting, which allows the skin to harden) they can last up to 12 months in a cool dark place in your home like a closet or unheated room, even under a bed.
