Tower of Jewels reminds me of Dr. Seuss. Big Giant pointy clusters of dramatic pink flowers that grow 8 ft tall. Its highly desired after and absolutely breathtaking flowers. It holds the Garden Merit Award of 2002 from The Royal Horticultural Society.
Tower of Jewels is from the Canary Islands. It needs Full sun, fast draining soil and no water.
The first year appears a gray round ball that's interesting on its own. The second spring, it sends up a gigantic spikes of shiny pink blossoms that are dotted with electric blue. Hummers and bees love them and humans stop and stare. This is a real traffic stopper.
Direct seed, as they don't transplant well, in gritty soil and full sun. They reseed themselves well.
